Boho Farmhouse Wedding Fremont Michigan | Jorie & Tylor

Jorie and Tylor were married at Heritage Farm Market in Fremont, Michigan on a beautiful late summer Saturday.

When we arrived Jorie and her four bridesmaids were getting ready at the farm house at Heritage Farms. They were getting their hair done by Gabby Vanderwall and makeup done by Taelor Schultz. They all looked absolutely stunning! We instructed the girls to start putting on their dresses which were a light green so that Jorie could do a first look with her bridesmaids. We set up the girls at the bottom of the stairs and had Jorie walk down to them. When she reached the bottom of the stairs they all hugged!

Then Jorie wanted to do a first look with her father. We set him up outside on the farm houses front porch and had Jorie walk up behind him. When he looked at her he smiled really big and they hugged. She then presented her dad with a gift. It was a custom hammer that said “thank you for helping me build my life.” It was so unique and special and something we haven’t seen before!

Next it was time for Jorie and Tylor to have their first touch. We brought them to their ceremony space and had Tylor face away as Jorie walked behind him so they were back to back. They held hands and read their vows. It was one of the more emotional moments we’ve captured. Jorie was in tears within the first sentence followed by Tylor a few moments later. They said their goodbyes and started to get ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony was held outside next to a vine covered pergola and under a triangular arbor that her dad had built. The ceremony was short and sweet! We then took the bridal party out by the corn field for photos followed by portraits of the couple in a wild flower field.

The reception was held inside the event barn at Heritage Farm Market. Jorie had done a lot of the decorating herself and the centerpieces were very boho inspired, which we loved! She did an amazing job! Dinner was served buffet style by Teep Spaulding who is a family friend and everything was super yummy! They also had lots of cookies by Crumbl Cookies which you can’t go wrong with. So good!

Next were the dances. Jorie danced with not only her new husband and father, but her mother as well. It was so cute and emotional.

Shortly after the formal dances the DJ opened up the dance floor for everyone. The drinks were flowing and everyone was having an amazing time! Tylor and Jorie both had signature drinks at the bar that the guests could order. Tylor had a Moscow Mule and Jorie had a Vodka Cranberry. Towards the end of the night Jorie changed into her second dress which was a tight fitting, long, lace dress. She looked stunning and was having so much fun with their family and friends!

Congratulations Jorie and Tylor your wedding was so much fun and a joy to be a part of!
