Payton and Kade were married at their family’s farm house on a warm September day. It was beautiful and filled with love and laughs.
We meet up with Payton at her mom’s house while Payton, her maid of honor, and mother were getting their hair and makeup done by Ali VanAlstine. They all looked so amazing! We’re always super excited to see the brides dress and this time was no different! When we unzipped the bag we saw that it was a high neck, all lace dress with a cathedral length veil! So stunning and the dress fit her so well! Shout out to Becker’s Bridal for finding the most perfect dress! She was an absolute vision!
Her bouquet was also a show stopper. It’s probably one of the biggest bouquets we’ve seen! Wassermen’s Floral did a fantastic job! After we took photos of her details and the dress we headed over to Kade’s parents farm house where the ceremony and reception would take place. It was beautiful. The house was white with a wraparound porch, a large barn, and a beautiful field. We then found Kade to take photos of his details. He was looking very dapper in all black with dark green suspenders and bowtie.
Shortly after Payton arrived and we did a first touch with the couple. We set them up back to back by a large apple tree. They held hands and shared a sweet moment together before their ceremony.
Their ceremony was held behind the barn, in front of a large field. As Payton walked down the aisle you could tell Kade was filled with emotion. It’s such a treat for us when we get to capture such raw emotion. They had wrote their own vows. They were so beautiful we had to record them for the couple. Payton, who doesn’t like to show much emotion was even tearing up! The ceremony was officiated by a family friend and he did great! It was short and sweet.
Dinner was served by White Linen Catering and it was very yummy! Dessert was delicious! They served cheesecake bites and cupcakes by Sara Sweets Bakery. Next was the dances. Payton danced with Kade then her father and Kade split his dance between his mom and step mom.
Then the face floor was open to the guests and boy did they dance! DJ Joe from Jay Eskle did an amazing job hyping up the crowd and playing great music! It was definitely a party! Towards the end of the night Payton and Kade changed into matching sweatsuits and danced the night away!
After the ceremony we took photos of the bridal party and then portraits of the couple. Payton and Kade had a smaller bridal party with just a maid of honor and best man which gave us the opportunity to take more photos of the bride and groom, which we love!
The reception was held outside under two tents with a dance floor in the middle and lots of twinkly lights. Before dinner was served their family and friends read their speeches to the couple. So many nice things were said. It was very emotional and we were able to record their speeches as well!
