Angie and Mike were married on a beautiful Saturday at The Lake House in Ludington, Michigan. Their wedding was amazing and full of heartfelt moments. I can’t wait to share their day with all of you! 

Angie wanted to do a first look with Mike so we had the opportunity to do that outside at the edge of the field by the lake and The Badger (a passenger and car ferry that crosses Lake Michigan to Wisconsin). And as a bonus the field had some small wildflowers! We walked Angie all the way out to Mike and had her stand behind him, back to back. They grabbed hands and had a little moment before looking at each other. Then they turned to look at each other. They were both in awe of how amazing each other looked! We then went straight into doing their portraits which were fun and playful, but also very intimate. We were joined by the bridal party and began their photos. Mike and Angie had a larger bridal party so that made for some fun photos with lots of energy! 

The ceremony was held outside by the marina under a circular arbor. The bridesmaids dresses were a light blue and the groomsmen wore gray and white. As Angie walked down the aisle she looked absolutely stunning in her tiered wedding gown. Her bouquet was filled with beautiful white, light blue and purple flowers from Roots ‘n Blooms. Perfect for a summer wedding by the water! They’re ceremony was touching! They did a sand ceremony incorporating sand from where they met and where they are getting married. After the ceremony Angie & Mike walked back down the aisle to the patio and we’re joined by their bridal party. They hugged and congratulated the couple. We then took the couple inside to get a drink at the bar so they could share a moment with each other. 

Dinner was served and it was delicious! KJ Catering did a fabulous job! Then the couple cut their beautiful cake catered by Chef John’s European Bakery. They offered a marble cake and carrot cake. 

Mike & Angie shared their first dance together on the dance floor, followed by a choreographed dance between Angie and her mother to Dancing Queen by ABBA! Mike and his mom then shared a special dance with each other. After the dances the DJ (Motor City HDJ) asked all the married couples to come to the dance floor for the anniversary dance. Angie and Mike then took a picture with the couple that had been married the longest. The DJ announced open dancing and he did a fantastic job at getting everyone pumped! He had everyone on the dance floor! We were able to get so many great photos of everyone dancing especially Angie! She danced her heart out! 

It was then time for our favorite part of the night, sunset photos! We took them back out to the pretty field on the water and let the sunset inspire some truly magical moments! When we were finished we noticed that we had quite an audience as all the guests were watching and cheering on the couple! Angie and Mike your wedding was filled with such amazing energy! We loved every second!
